Artsakh War
For the past 11 years P4P Foundation has been helping orphanages, orphaned children and young adults who have no place to live after leaving the orphanage at the age of 18, and families in border villages with more than 2 children who live in critically bad conditions. We provide them with shelter, pay for their utilities, for some students we pay for their educational tuitions, transportation, food and clothing. We are committed to our mission and continue to do our work. However, taking into consideration the current circumstances in Armenia and Artsakh, now we have also started to sponsor families of our fallen and wounded soldiers. As of today there are 50 families that we sponsor out of which 40 are of fallen soldiers' families and 10 are wounded soldiers. Our sponsorship program includes monthly financial support for 12 months, the amount ranges between $150-$500 per month depending on the family's financial and social status. We also continuously collect boxes of clothes, hygiene supplies, dry food and ship those to the families in need.
Slavik Avetisyan
Mayor Avetisyan Slavik was killed in Jabrael. Slavik left behind his two daughters at the age of 7 and 14. Wife lives with the two kids and in laws, only one person works from the family. Slavik's family does not own a home and struggles financially. Slavik's wife Galina will be receiving $200 per month for 12 months starting November 2020.

Kamo Shahbazyan, born in 1979. Kamo was killed and left behind his 4 sons at the ages of 17, 14, 12, 1 and one daughter at the age of 3. Kamo's wife Manush does not work and has to take care of their 5 children by herself. Kamo's wife will receive $300 per month for 12 months starting November 2020.

Gagik Poghosyan, born in 1997. Gagik is wounded and currently is in the hospital. Gagik has 2 sons at the age of 4 and 2. Gagik's family of 8 people live together in a one bedroom halfway house in Yerevan. Gagik's family is in extremely critical condition and needs help. Starting November 2020, Gagik's family will receive $400 per month for 12 months.

Armen Hayrapetyan, born in 1987. Armen has left behind his wife and two daughters at the age of 3 and 7. The family lives in Meghri and currently rents the apartment. Albert Bagiyantc, born in 1976. Albert has left behind his 8 children and wife. Albert's family lost not only their father and a husband but also their home which was in Karvachar. Now the family has been moved to Vanadzor temporarily until a permanent shelter will be provided. Albert's wife Vergine will receive $400 per month for 12 months starting November 2020.

Taron Taroyan, born in 2000. Even though with severe wounds, luckily Taron managed to survive and now he is in the hospital. Taron's father works with a very low pay which is not enough to provide for a family of 4. Taron also has a brother who is younger and can't work. They need financial help to buy medications and provide proper care for Taron's condition. Taron's mother Nazik will receive $150 per month for 12 months starting November 2020.

Vardine also has health issues and underwent a surgery a year ago. Vahagn's family will receive $200 per month for 12 months starting November 2020.

Artyom Vardazaryan
Artyom Vardazaryan, born in 2002. Artyom is wounded from his right leg and underwent 3 surgeries. Doctors said that he won't be able to walk freely for at least 10 months. His left eye is damaged and he can only see 5% which will not be cured, as the treatments are over for his eye and the doctors did the best they could. Artyom's parent's are not in Armenia and are not able to support him, he lives in a halfway house with his aunt. Starting November 2020, Artyom will receive $150 per month for 12 months.

Mafion Asatryan born in 1998. Mafion is severely wounded, his ribs and upper body bones are broken. Mafion is not married and does not have kids. Mafion has three siblings and both parents. The only person working in the family is his father with a low paying job which is not sufficient to provide for the family and to buy medications for his son. Mafion had 3 surgeries and still needs to have more surgery in December. Starting November 2020, Mafion's family will receive $150 per month for 12 months.

Mher Atoyan, born in 1987. Mher is severely wounded and has lung damage awaiting for his second surgery. Mher is married but does not have any children. Mher will not be able to work as well as his wife won't be able to work as she is the primary caregiver. Starting November 2020, Mher will receive $150 per month for 12 months.

Sevak Kocharyan, severely wounded, just came out of the coma but can’t walk, can’t hear, left eye can’t see, and can’t move. Sevak's has 4 children and they are from Shushi. Family has moved to Yerevan since Shushi does not belong to Artcakh anymore. Sevak's wife Lusine will receive $200 per month for 13 months starting November 2020.

Abraham Karapetyan, born in 2001. Abraham was killed during war without being able to build his own family. He left behind his large family of 10: parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, brother’s wife and 2 children. Most of the family members live in relatives' houses and do not have any financial resources to support themselves. Abraham’s mother Elmira receives $150 per month for 12 months.

Artak Darbinyan, born in 2000. Artak and his 2 brothers were in Artsakh from the beginning of the war. Artak’s brothers survived but he being the youngest in the family was killed on November 9th. Artak’s family of 5 (parents, 2 brothers and a sister) live in Gyumri. Only the older brother works from the family. They are very humble people and even knowing that they needed the help, Artak’s brother still tried to refuse our help asking us to help families with little kids. Artak's family receives $150 per month for 12 months.

Erik Khachatryan, born in 2001 was the only son to his parents. This bright and beautiful Soldier who was the light of their home is gone. Erik left behind his parents and sister who live in Charentcavan. Currently no one works in the family and they do not receive any support from anywhere. The family is still in shock and when speaking with Erik’s father, he said “I’m still waiting for my Erik to come home, I still believe that he is going to come back...” Erik’s family receives $150 per month for 12 months.

Armen Karapetyan born in 2001, Edik Karapetyan born in 1964. Armen’s dad fought in Artsakh in the 1990s and freed our lands specifically Karvachar from the Turks but little did he know that he was going to die in Karvachar after 28 years. Armen and his father died on the same day on November 3rd, Armen in Jabrael and his father in Karvachar. Now the only people left in the family are the mother Alina and the 2 daughters. Armen and Edik's family lives in Yerevan and currently no one works in the family. Alina receives $150 every month for 12 months.

Hakob's wife Tatevik receives $200 per month for 12 months.

Every month for 12 months Hakob's wife Armanush will receive $300 starting November 2020.

His whole body is injured and he is not able to walk or sit. Arman’s family of 4 (mother, father and sister) lives in Armavir and the only person working in the family is the father who doesn’t make enough to feed the family and buy medication for his wounded son. Arman’s mother Vartiter receives $150 every month for 12 months.

Gor’s family receives $200 every month for 12 months.

Hayk receives $200 per month for 12 months.

Arkadi Ghazaryan, was born on 10/06/1977. Arkadi was killed on November 9 near Davit Beck village. Arkadi’s wife Seda Ghazaryan is left alone 6 months pregnant with their 3 years old daughter. Seda lives with her mother in law and no one works in the family. They do not have any source of income and are not able to support themselves, as Arkadi was the only provider in the house. Starting December 2020, Seda receives $200 per month for 12 months.

Aghajanyan Sargis, was born on 03/18/1978. Sargis was killed in Mataghis on October 6th. Sargis served the Armenian Army for 18 years and had a contract which would be renewed every 3 years. Kristina Parvanyan, Sargis’ wife is left alone with their 8 year old daughter, and 11 and 2 years old sons. Kristina is pregnant with their 4th child and is due in February. Sargis’ family (wife, father and 3 children soon to be 4) lives in Vanadzor. No one works in the family. Sarkis' father receives a $115 retirement payment per month which is not enough to feed a family of 6.

Manvel Karapetyan was born on 12/05/1988. Manvel served the Armenian Army for 12 years and was a Brigadier General. He was killed on September 28 in Talish. Manvel has 2 daughters at the ages of 5 and 2. The whole family was living in Talish, but after his death, the wife and the kids moved back to Manvel’s parents' house in Gyumri. Currently Victoria Hovhannisyan, Manvel’s wife, lives with in-laws, her daughters and Manvel’s brother’s family. One big family of 9 in one small house. Currently no one works in the family as Manvel was the primary provider and Manvel’s brother's work is seasonal. Manvel’s family receives $250 per month for 12 months starting December 2020.

Hamlet is 19 years old who got severely wounded in Artsakh. Hamlet's mother is a single mother of three: Hamlet and his brothers at the ages of 13 and 6. The family has no place to live as they do not own a house. They need housing and money to survive since the mother Narine is the only provider who is currently not employed because she is taking care of her wounded son. Starting December 2020, Narine receives $250 every month for 12 months to pay for rent and utilities of their new rented apartment.

Tigran Goginyan was born in 1990. He was killed in Jabrael on October 9. Tigran was a Major Lieutenant and served the Armenian Army for many years. Tigran’s wife Eliz is left alone with their 2 children, 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. Eliz lives with in-laws and husband’s grandmother in Vanadzor. Currently no one works in the family and only the grandmother receives retirement payment. Startin December 2020 Eliz receives $250 every month for 12 months.

Torosyan Mher, born in 1988. Mher is severely wounded and cannot work. There are 7 people in the family; Mher and wife Ruzanna Nazaryan, Mher’s grandmother and 4 kids: 12 years old daughter, 6 years old son, and 4 years old twins a boy and a girl. They live in their own apartment but no one works in the family. Mher was the only provider. Starting December 2020, Mher’s family receives $300 monthly for 12 months.

Karen Vardanyan, was born in 2001. Karen was killed in the Martuni region on 10/24/2020. Unfortunately he didn’t have a chance to make his own family and left behind his parents and 2 siblings; brother 23 years old and sister 9 years old. Currently the only working person in the family is Karen’s brother who does not make enough to feed a family of four. Starting December 2020, Karen’s mother Karine Abrahamyan receives $150 every month for 12 months.

Ruben Martirosyan, was born in 1972. Ruben was killed in Fizuli on 10/09/20. Ruben rushed to the war as a volunteer and never returned leaving behind his wife and 3 children. Currently Ruben’s two married daughters with their children moved in with their mother to support her for a month but Ruben’s wife lives alone with their 15 years old son who suffers from mental disability and needs 24 hours supervision. Currently no one works in the family. Starting December 2020, Ruben’s wife Marine Martirosyan receives $200 monthly for 12 months.

Davit Kirakosyan, born in 1989 Davit was killed in Artsakh on 11/03/20. David left behind his wife and their 10 month old daughter. David’s wife and daughter live alone in Yerevan in their apartment but the wife cannot work since she is taking care of their daughter. David was the only provider in the house. Starting December 2020, David’s wife Mariam Gasparyan receives $200 per month for 12 months.

Serjhik Hovsepyan was born in 1985. Serjhik served the Armenian Army for 13 years and was a Lieutenant. Serjhik was killed in Fizuli on 10/12/2020 leaving behind his wife Argine Tonyan, two sons at the ages of 9 and 3 and daughter at the age of 6. Originally Serjhik’s family is from Hadrut but since they also lost their home, now they all moved to Yerevan and are renting for $200 per month. There are 4 adults in the family (Serjhik’s wife, mother, and parents in law) and the 3 children. Currently no one works in the family and they have no outside support. Starting December 2020, Argine receives $250 per month for 12 months.

Aram Abrahamyan, was born in 1981. Aram served the Armenian Army for 15 years and was a Major Sergeant. He was killed on 10/02/20 in Karvachar and left behind his wife and 2 daughters at the ages of 9 and 12. Aram’s family lives in Martuni (near Sevan lake in Armenia). Aram’s wife lives with her parents in law and her two children. Currently no one works in the family since Aram was the only provider for their family. Aram’s wife Ella Abrahamyan will receive $200 monthly for the next 12 months.

Jivan’s wife Shoghine will receive $200 per month for 12 months strting December 2020.

Arsen’s family members are 5 which include himself and his wife and their 3 children: daughters at the ages of 10 and 8 and a 7 months old son. No one works in the family as he was the only provider in the family working as a jeweler before the war. The family is in desperate need of help to feed their children and pay for utilities. Arsen’s family will receive $250 per month for 12 months starting December 2020.

Tigran Harutunyan, born on 12.22.2000. Tigran was killed in Jabrael 10.13.2020. Currently in the family are his parents and Tigran’s sister with her 1 and a half year old son. Tigran’s father also participated in the war and got wounded. He has been discharged from the hospital and now is at home waiting to get better in order to go back to the front. At this time only Tigran’s mother Ruzanna works and she does not get paid enough to feed their family and buy medication for her husband. Tigran’s family will receive $200 per month for 5 months starting December 2020.
